For who it may concern, Wris seems to be missin'.

[He looks indifferent as he looks into the feed.]

That, or she's run off without her insufferable spider. [Which, almost as if on cue, makes itself noticeable by poking out the top of Eridan's well groomed hair with a nearly despairing churrr. His eyes trail upward, as if attempting to glare at it, but then he looks back to the feed.]

So is this a normal thing? Showin' up here for a week or so and disappearin'? I know people tend to disappear an' what not, but I wasn't sure what the bloody return rate was.

[Despite his indifference, he does sound a little... disappointed?]

Of course, not that I'm complainin', now she won't be holdin' me back none, and I won't hawe to be dealin' with her insufferable fuckin' personality.

Guess it makes for a lonely trip, though.

I know you don't have any memories of me, but I'd like to be your friend still, if you'd be alright with that.

[And then it's his turn to be quiet. Seriously, this is such a switch it's nearly jarring in a way. In a nice way. So with the proper amount of arrogant puffing up:]

You're right, I don't got any memories. So don't think I'm gonna make any promises I don't intend to keep...

[He thoughtfully pauses a moment.]

Howewer. Seein' as you'we prowed yourself useful so far, an' you're not a pain in my flippin' gills... I might take you up on that offer. An' no this ain't me sayin' I'm gonna be pupa-pals with you.

[He raises his eyebrows a bit, trying to look as nonchalant as humanly possible.]

So, don't hold your breath or anythin', Cher.

[That makes her smile very brightly, and she nods anyway to not 'holding her breath'. Still, it made her heart ache just a bit at hearing the nickname she always heard before.]
