[It certainly has been a while since anyone has seen or heard the overbearing Prince of Hope, and what ever fears of his departure there may have been will soon be quelled entirely as the feed clicks on. However, it's at an awkward angle that shows more sky and tree tops than anything else. After a few moments, the gear gets nudged by something, and beyond a few more strands of grass filling the screen, there's also a small view of Eridan, who looks like he's spent the last three weeks asleep in the woods... which he has. He's also got some things wriggling on him.]

Wha... th'fuck--

[His voice sounds dry and crackly, like he hasn't had a drink in forever... Which he hasn't. He has only just now noticed all the caterpie and weedle having a party on his previously unconscious body - is that a metapod?? Cue some unflattering near-strangled yelps of surprise escaping him as he desperately tries to beat the things off of him. In the scuffle, he hits the gear and unfortunately cutting the show short.]

[However, not long after a text message sends out, him of course not realizing a video was even broadcasting his less than graceful battle against the nuzzling overgrown caterpillars:]

for it seems ivve spent the last three quarters of the perigee in the wwoods

that being said i wwould officially like to make this post into some sort of recruitin measure because i cant rightly continue on wwith the idea that i may pass out at any givven moment
for all im more than capable of takin care of myself this wworld seems to enjoy placing hurdles wwhere they dont belong

[By Violet? She guesses it could be a lot worse, he could be somewhere in Kanto and that'd really be a bitch to catch up to. She can't type and fiddle with her map at the same time, so she'll just take the liberty of switching her end of the feed to video. She's not in her rogue outfit, she still needs to do some laundry to get that washed up, just sporting simple shorts and t-shirt while she sits and fiddles through her bag to pull out the map. The gear shifts as her Grovyle gets comfortable sitting in front of her as he holds it.]

When you grow up in a world that was ruled an' destroyed by an alien overlord who tried to make your species into her own, ya learn shit in the process.

[It's a brush off of the question really, not something that requires too much thought. Simple facts of life and all that shit.]

Lookin' like it'll take me maybs five to six days to fly back to Violet, so if you just wanna head there an' chill for a bit I can meet you there.

[With that settled she sets her map aside and props her chin on her hand with a grin. Just the fact that he has to ask like that amuses her. She's not sure what kind of cute he is, but there's really no doubt. Most guys are cute to her though, but that's besides the point.]

[The gear shifts, said T-Cool protesting rather vocally. His pride's already damaged after having his ass saved by a god damned bunny, and now he's being denied a chance to redeem himself. The gear is promptly dropped to the ground, the retreating form of the Grovyle just visible.]

[T-Cool isn't listening and Roxy just sighs and picks up the gear herself, looking a little amused.]

Got his butt kicked at the last gym, thought he was over it but apparently not. Anyways, like I was sayin', I got a boy with Ice Fang and got one with Thunder Fang, so those two will probs be my main ones. Sucks that Zazzerpan won't be strong enough in time, he'd totes dominate with thunder punch. Haven't had much time to train up my new boys with all this travelin' goin' on, so he'll have to wait another time to prove he's a totes legit awesome wizard.

I've totes got a back up if I need it, like, Janey hooked me up with some strong babes before she left, and older and hotter me left me an almost full set of Eeveelutions. Most of them I just let hang though, only got a handful I've been training. T-Cool's the only one out of them that I've ever caught myself, most of the others were eggs I got my hands on or from other people.

[She sighs, glancing in the direction he walked off in and at least glad to see that the Flareon seems to be trying to talk him out of his bad mood. At least she assumes that's what's going on over there.]

Guess I may as well let him try. If his pride gets hurt again, he's got no one to blame but himself.

[There's a long pause before he replies. He has made it to town and is working on getting himself somewhere to stay so he can get all cleaned up properly. So after about 10-15 minutes he finally responds.]

Guess we're gonna find out. An' after we get our badges an' stuff, if there's anywhere we wanna go I totes got us covered. Castor's like, the most bamf Aerodactyl eva. You don't know Johto till you get to fly over it at night, it's pretty sweet. It's kinda hot flyin' in the day time, but evenin' or nighttime is awesome.

[A week on the dinobird with Haru was awesome, she never knew she had an affinity for flying before, but damn if it isn't fun to be up so high.]

The skies used to be my turf back on Aternia. I had a skyhorse for a lusus, after all. I hawen't delwed too much into the beasts with the affinity for flyin' though, but I'm sure it's a pleasure. It always was for me.

I may want to head to Pewter possibly. A friend a mine is there that I hawe yet to gift with my presence since my arriwal.

Pewter's the first place I stayed in when I got here, Jane had me like, immediately head there when I arrived an' we chilled there to train to get my badge. She ended up leavin' right before I got it, then I came here to take a newbie up to Olivine cause he wanted to be near the ocean.

But that just means I totes know the way there and how long it takes, we're gonna have some fun hangin' in the sky for 'bout a week once we head on our way. Castor can go about five and a half hours without a break, usually good to go again after another hour or so which can totes be used for meal times. So if that's what you wanna do, won't be any prob at all.

I'm alright with that. Like I said, I'm pretty much a fuckin' master a the skies, and I'd hawe no right to lay such a claim if a few days suspended in the fuckin' air would cause me any iota a distress.

Ain't no big deal, I had somethin' to hit up pretty quick after I got my badge. An' hey, I think of it like this. I got to hang with Haru cause of it, and now getta hang with you, so it's obvs not all bad bein' on my own.
